Golden Coast Rum Branding
This assignment was sponsored group project at Art Center College of Design. A start-up rum company asked us to come up with a marketing strategy, branding, and packaging design based around the idea of the west coast lifestyle. My role in this was to research current trends in packaging, fashion and art and execute design based on that research.
Mood Board
Below is the mood board I created to consolidate some of my visual research, as well as communicate to the client the look and feel we were trying to achieve.
This board contains visuals of Golden Coast Rum's target client: young, hip and active tastemakers, as well indicators of that client's lifestyle. There is also some key images on the right that I used to guide and inspire my design. When choosing these images, I looked for the energy, vibrancy, and sophistication of the target client.
